You know I woke up and pointed the light on the wall clock and it's 6:00am already. Jeez! Immediately I jumped like a deer off the bed. Wow! Today is monday and I'm waking by this time? God how come? What happened? I rushed to the bathroom doing my wake up prayers under my breath as I'm tidying up. I'm dressed and off I hit the road and just at this bus stop, the traffic is crazy. Oh my God, am I trekking again today? Oh gawd! I stepped down from the Keke as I thought the distance to trek isn't much. 45minutes later! Still trekking!! Heaven have mercy. Not this week again. Who have I offended? This village people again? Did I wake on the wrong side? Oh was my prayers not heard? Alright, after 2Hours, I'm here in the office and I have missed the early hours skpe executive briefing. Oh, what is my boss gonna say. Hmm! I hope he understands (I wish). But for how long will I continue with same excuses? I should think of having control of my time. Need to do my homework on it. God direct my thoughts.

TWENTY-SIXTH SUNDAY OF THE YEAR (Ezek 18:25-28; Phil 2:1-11; Matt 21:28-32) This Sunday coincides with the 57th anniversary of the independence of Nigeria. On this day the church in Nigeria celebrates the feast of Our Lady Queen and Patroness of Nigeria and special readings have been chosen for the day. However, this reflection is on the readings of the 26th Sunday of the year, even though majority of the readers are in Nigeria and may hear different readings at mass.
